In my enterprise needs-analysis, I uncovered 120 potential learning projects that groups around the company needed for their work in accessibility. Many of these projects required the input and work of experts; many more would impact multiple products. I needed a communal learning method that would bring experts together to define and solve problems.

I developed a strategy for Accessibility Communities of Practice to begin to address these needs, as well as to help define what expertise existed across the company, and how much of it was documented in useable forms. I partnered with respected technical leaders, who took on leadership roles in the planning and execution of the strategy. I planned workshops with these leaders to create 90 day road maps for the development of their communities as well as the quick wins they would use to provide value to their organizations and community members.
